Privacy policy.

ARTICLE 1 – PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED:

When you place an order in our store, as part of our buying and selling process, we collect personal data such as your name, address, and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive the Internet Protocol address (IP address) of your computer, which allows us to obtain more details about the browser and operating system you are using.

Marketing by email (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

    ARTICLE 2 - CONSENT:

How do you obtain my consent?

When you provide us with personal data to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, schedule a delivery, or return a purchase, we assume that you consent to the collection and processing of your data for these purposes only.

If we ask you to provide us with personal data for any other reason (such as for marketing purposes), we will ask you for your consent directly, or we will give you the opportunity to refuse.

How can I revoke my consent?

If, after you have granted your consent, you change your mind and no longer wish for us to be able to contact you or collect/disclose your data, you may notify us of your decision at: hello@hello-hossy.com or by mail at: Hello Hossy, 261 Avenue des Rémouleurs, 40150 Soorts-Hossegor, France.

      ARTICLE 3 – DISCLOSURE:

We may disclose your personal data if we are required to do so by law, or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.

        ARTICLE 4 – SHOPIFY:

Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services.

Your data is stored in Shopify's databases and data storage system, and in the Shopify app. Your data is stored on a secure server protected by a firewall.

          Payment:

If you make your purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction information will be retained for the amount of time that is needed to complete your order. Once your order is finalized, this purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard (managed by the PCI Security Standards Council), which is the result of a joint effort by companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

The requirements of the PCI-DSS standard ensure that credit card data is processed securely by our store and its service providers.

For more information, please see the Shopify Terms of Use here or the Privacy Policy here.

ARTICLE 5 — SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES:

In general, our third-party providers only collect, process, and disclose your data to the extent that such collection, processing, or disclosure is necessary to perform the services for which they are hired.

However, some third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the data to be provided for your purchase transactions.

We recommend that you carefully read the privacy policies of these providers to discover how they will process your personal data.

Keep in mind that some providers may be (or have facilities) located in different jurisdictions than ours or yours. If you decide to proceed with a transaction that requires the services of a third-party provider, your information may therefore be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the provider or its facilities are located.

For example, if you live in Canada and your transaction is processed through a payment gateway in the United States, the information that is used to complete your transaction may be disclosed as per United States law, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer bound by this Privacy Policy or our website's Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale.

If you provide us with your credit card information, it will be encrypted using the SSL security protocol and stored with AES-256 encryption. While no electronic storage option or method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we meet all the requirements of PCI-DSS and implement additional standards that are usually recognized by the industry.
